Damien Browning is the co-founder and Executive Director of Steps to Recovery Homes, a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2013. A dedicated father of three, Damien combines his passion for helping others with his strong academic background. He holds an Associate’s degree in Computer Systems and Applications and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management at Northern Arizona University, where he maintains an impressive 3.90 GPA.
Damien’s commitment to excellence has earned him numerous academic awards, including the All Arizona Academic Team Scholarship and the Yavapai College Vice President’s Award for Academic Excellence in 2013.
Having navigated his own challenging journey to recovery since 2006, Damien brings genuine empathy and firsthand experience to his work. His involvement with MATFORCE over the past six years as a Reentry and Community Coach, along with his active service in a 12-step fellowship, underscores his dedication to the recovery community.
Under Damien’s leadership, Steps to Recovery Homes launched Miracles Happen Resale Store – Boutique Rehab, where proceeds directly support recovery efforts. Additionally, Damien founded Konnect Wellness Center, offering holistic, personalized addiction recovery programs delivered by compassionate, licensed therapists in a supportive environment.
Damien’s mission is clear: to inspire hope, provide support, and empower individuals on their path to recovery.
