Maureen “Mo” Michael, LPC, ICGC-I, brings over 14 years of experience in substance abuse and problem gambling treatment to her role as Clinical Director at Konnect Wellness Center. Mo’s journey in the treatment field began in 2008 as a residential house manager, where she developed a deep understanding of both the administrative and clinical sides of addiction recovery.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and International Certified Gambling Counselor, Mo has dedicated the past decade to expanding services for individuals affected by substance use disorders and gambling addictions, particularly within the treatment industry and the criminal justice system.
Mo’s personal recovery journey began in 2007, and she believes that helping others achieve recovery is her true calling. Known for her compassionate approach and unwavering dedication, Mo is committed to guiding individuals and families through the challenges of addiction recovery with empathy and expertise.
Outside of work, Mo enjoys spending time outdoors, playing softball, cooking, and cherishing moments with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She lives by the mantra, “An attitude of gratitude is the key to life.”
