Dr. Steven Karp, DO, FACN, brings over 30 years of experience in addiction psychiatry, mental health, and eating disorder treatment to his role as Chief Medical Officer at Konnect Wellness Center. A respected thought leader in behavioral health, Dr. Karp has been a certified Addiction Psychiatrist since 1991 and is triple board-certified in addiction psychiatry, adult psychiatry, and geriatric psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Karp graduated Cum Laude from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture and earned his medical degree from the prestigious Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship in Philadelphia and a residency in Psychiatry at Norristown State Hospital, where he honed his expertise in mental health care.
Before joining Konnect Wellness Center, Dr. Karp served as Chief Medical Officer at the Palm Beach Institute and spent ten years leading psychiatric and medical care at the Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders in Wickenburg, Arizona. His extensive background in addiction and eating disorder treatment allows him to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to clients facing complex mental health challenges.
